Chiesa di San Domenico
Felice Torelli, Gian Maria Ferraroni, Jacopo Negretti
The large Baroque church of San Domenico retains all the signs of its long history in its façade and sides. Of medieval origins, it was renovated in the late 15th century and rebuilt in 1723 by Giovanni Battista Ferraroni. The nearby convent had a similar history. After the Unification of Italy, it housed the army’s stallion yard. Now completely restored, it is home to important cultural institutions.
