Description

Works on this austere palace began in 1624 as the seat of the Jesuit college. It was designed by Flaminio Ruffini, an amateur architect, who also designed the Church of San Giorgio opposite. After the suppression of the Jesuits, it began to house cultural institutions and is now entirely occupied by the A. Panizzi Municipal Library, also famous for its valuable collections of antiques.
