Description

This evocative residence was created as a secondary residence of the larger complex of the Rivalta Palace, commissioned by the crown prince Francesco d’Este. Built around the middle of the 18th century, it is reflected in the waters of the oval pond (vasca) created as a reservoir for the water requirements of the Rivalta park.

Despite the extension works to the dwelling (mid-19th century) and the changes to the pond (mid-20th century), the complex is still rich in historical and scenic charm.
