Description

The Archiepiscopal Palace reveals in its complex architectural conformation the stages of its long history: the seat of the bishops of Modena since the 9th century, its dual layout was refined in the 12th century, with two structures joined by a large vault. Repeatedly renovated and partially rebuilt, its interior bears decorations ranging from the 16th to the 20th century.
