Description

This elegant neoclassical palace was built at the instigation of Francesco IV, who, following ideas already put forward by his father-in-law Ercole III, sought to reorganise and regularise the square in front of the palace. There were as many as twelve different houses in this area, which were purchased and replaced by the large palace, which became the seat of the offices of the Intendenza Camerale.
