Daniele Pascale
Palazzo Ruini
Ercole I
Bartolomeo Spani, Biagio Rossetti
This building built by the illustrious jurist Carlo Ruini can be considered one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture in Reggio. Although the façade has been remodelled, pilasters, corbels, windows and terracotta decorations attributable to the original construction still remain under the portico and along the sides and recall the features of Biagio Rossetti’s buildings in Ferrara. The interior still retains the original succession of vaults and courtyards with arcades.
