The Church of the Rosary shows visitors a very simple 19th-century façade that offers no clue as to the Baroque splendour of the stucco decoration that adorns the interior. Commissioned by the local confraternity of the Rosary at the end of the 16th century, the church was enlarged during the 17th century and decorated by stucco workers Giampaolo Frisoni and Michele Regoli. A rich collection of carved wooden altarpieces and altarpieces by artists such as Carlo Cignani and Francesco Stringa complete the building’s ornamentation.
